Business Networking for Clanfield Businesses: Where to Go Each Week
Clanfield business owners looking for regular networking have a weekly group a short drive away: Wednesdays at 4.30pm at Waterlooville Golf Club in Cowplain. It is ticketed and by invitation, and we can get you a free guest ticket.
For business networking near Clanfield, the weekly option is the business referral group that meets every Wednesday at 4.30pm at Waterlooville Golf Club, Cherry Tree Avenue, Cowplain PO8 8AP. It is ticketed and by invitation. Clanfield business owners can ask for a free guest ticket at waterlooville.co/guides/business-networking-waterlooville.
The short answer
If you run a business from Clanfield and want to meet other local owners every week, the group to know about meets in Cowplain, down the A3 past Horndean: Wednesdays at 4.30pm at Waterlooville Golf Club, Cherry Tree Avenue, Cowplain, PO8 8AP.
It is not a drop-in. Meetings are ticketed and by invitation, and you can ask for a free guest ticket here. Alyson, who runs the group for BNI Hampshire, will confirm your seat.
A referral group, not a coffee morning
The group is the Waterlooville chapter of BNI and it is built around members passing each other work. It is new, it meets in the afternoon, and it is open to owners from Clanfield, Horndean, Cowplain, Waterlooville and Denmead.
Every member gets 60 seconds each week to say what their business does and who they want to meet, and members take turns giving a 10-minute talk about their business. Members pass each other qualified referrals, and those referrals are checked and tracked. Only one business per trade or profession can hold a seat, so nobody in the room is competing with you. The group is still forming, so most seats are still open, and there is no membership fee until it reaches 20 members.
Good for a village business
If you are a sole trader or a small firm working across the surrounding villages, a room of other local owners who each know a different set of customers is a practical way to be introduced to work you would not otherwise hear about. The group is aimed at trades, financial and professional services and creative businesses.
Visiting
Fill in the form with your name, your business, what you do, a mobile number and an email address, and pick a Wednesday. You can come to up to two meetings as a guest. If you then want to join, you complete an application that the group's leadership team reviews, and seats go one per trade, first come, first served.
More on local networking
The Waterlooville business networking guide covers the meeting in more detail, along with the council-backed Havant Business Partnership events.
About this guide
Clanfield.co is part of the same local guide network as Waterlooville.co. Our publisher is a member of this group and is helping it grow, which is how we are able to arrange free guest tickets. When you ask for a ticket, your details go to Alyson at BNI Hampshire so she can confirm your visit. Meeting details were last checked on 8 October 2026.
